strickerje@gmail.com BioI went to elementary, middle, and high school at St. Andrew's Episcopal School, finishing in 2004. In May of 2009 I graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in mechanical engineering with a minor in math, completing Phase I honors credit and a year of co-op employment at Eaton Aerospace in Jackson.
I'm now in a Master's program (and considering staying for a Ph.D) at Michigan State University with an interest in automotive engine research and hope to ultimately work in research and development for an automotive company. I'm also an instrument rated private pilot. While I was at one point interested in a flying career, it's now just a hobby.
My other hobbies include computers and video games (I built a gaming PC in 2003 that's now an Ubuntu server), digital photography (since 2000, I've taken over 30,000 pictures, all meticulously tagged and labeled in iPhoto - I'm a Mac guy, of course), and traveling.
My political views are centered around my belief that people are the most happy and productive when they are the most free. In general, people should stay out of others' business when they are not being harmed by others' actions.
